Repair and Upgrade Request Terms
Before submitting a repair or upgrade request, please read the terms below. These terms explain how diagnostics, repair work, upgrade work, customer-supplied parts and social media permission are handled by Andromeda PC Gaming.
• This is a paid service: This form is for customers looking to book or enquire about paid PC diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, servicing or rebuild work. • Not a free advice service: Submitting this form does not entitle the customer to free technical support, free troubleshooting or free repair advice. • Diagnostics may be required: Some faults cannot be quoted accurately without an in-store diagnostic inspection. Diagnostic checks may be chargeable. • Quotes and approval: We will contact you before carrying out chargeable repair or upgrade work. Work will only proceed once the required details and costs have been agreed. • Customer-supplied parts: If you provide your own parts, you are responsible for making sure they are compatible and in good working condition. • Parts supplied by Andromeda PC Gaming: Parts supplied by us are covered under the applicable warranty terms for that product or repair. • Data responsibility: Customers are responsible for backing up important data before repair, upgrade or diagnostic work begins. • Faults and limitations: Some faults may require further testing, replacement parts or additional labour. We will advise where possible before proceeding. • Social media permission: Repairs or upgrades may only be recorded or photographed for social media where permission has been given. Personal details will not be shared. • Declined requests: Andromeda PC Gaming may decline requests that are unsuitable, incomplete or appear to be asking only for free technical advice. • Quotes and availability: Any quote provided is based on the information given and current stock availability. Component prices, availability and final specifications may change before an order is confirmed. • Custom recommendations: We recommend parts based on your budget, games, performance target, preferred style and any specific requirements provided in the form. Final recommendations may differ from the parts originally requested if we believe a better or more reliable option is available. • Customer-supplied hardware: Supplying your own parts is optional. If you provide your own hardware, you are responsible for making sure it is in good working condition and compatible with the intended build. • Customer-supplied part faults: If issues arise from customer-supplied components, responsibility for sourcing replacement parts remains with the customer. Customer-supplied parts are not covered under Andromeda PC Gaming warranty. • Parts supplied by Andromeda PC Gaming: Parts supplied by us are covered under the applicable warranty terms for that product or system. • Part exchange: Selected GPUs, CPUs or full gaming PCs may be considered for part exchange towards a new gaming PC, refurbished gaming PC or custom gaming PC request. Acceptance and value depend on condition, demand and current resale value. • Included setup services: Custom gaming PC builds may include BIOS setup, Windows installation, driver installation, system configuration and testing where applicable. • Compatibility advice: We will review the details you provide and advise if we believe there may be compatibility, performance or reliability concerns. Final build approval will be confirmed before payment or order completion. • Performance expectations: Gaming and workstation performance depends on the final specification, game settings, resolution, software, drivers and workload. We can advise on suitable specifications, but exact performance can vary. • Build cancellation or changes: If a confirmed build is changed or cancelled after work has started or parts have been ordered, charges may apply for completed work, ordered parts or non-returnable items. • Contact details: Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information. If we cannot reach you to confirm details, the build request may be delayed.
